The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing. - Isaiah 51:3

Just like the nation of Israel was in ruins, Danielle's life prior to 2006 had gradually spiraled into ruins after years of being in the strip club industry and over a decade of severe drug and alcohol addiction. In 2006 after a drug overdose, Danielle cried out to the God she had always believed in. Making steps to get sober and share the reality of where her life was, Danielle went through treatment in 2006, which led to her recovery and exit from the commercial sex industry. Danielle's relationship with a living and loving God became real, bringing about a kind of healing that only He could cause.

It wasn't easy at first, but making the changes she knew she needed to make with the help of support had to happen. It was either make some changes or keep on the same path. Through time, Danielle's heart opened to a God of Love who caused joy instead of despair, and beauty instead of ashes.

Danielle received her B.S. in Health Science as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor from Minnesota State University. Although she loved providing solutions to those ready for a new sober way of life, her desire to reach those yet working in the clubs only grew stronger. Danielle had numerous dreams, only confirming that it was time to further pursue the call to reach out to those she continued to think about, her sisters, God's beautiful daughters– the ones with hopes and dreams. In 2014, Bella Daughter was birthed.

Danielle now leads Bella Daughter outreach in hopes to share a message of love and support for those in the industry, or who have come out.
